Painting Grades We offer 3 grades of painting: Basic, Centerpiece, and Display. Basic grade is our standard tabletop quality – all elements of the model are painted, and some minor shading/highlighting is evident. This is the perfect grade for rank and file troops and/or large armies. Centerpiece grade is a cut above the norm – extra attention and effort is put into all elements of the model, with 2-4 layers of shading/highlighting evident, and usually some embellishment or freehand is included. This is the perfect grade for single RPG characters, unit leaders, heroes – anyone (or thing!) that deserves to be in the spotlight. Display grade is the high end of our abilities – we paint these as if they were going into our own collections, and dedicate 110% of our time and creativity to all elements of the model, usually employing 5 or more layers of shading/highlighting, as well as special effects such as NMM (non-metallic metals), source lighting, and intricate freehand detailing. This is the grade reserved for collectors and those who want the best we can produce. Basing We offer an extensive variety of basing styles, and can usually match any kind of existing basing style, or create one to suit your tastes. Simple basing schemes – rocks, grass, snow, rubble, etc. are always provided at no extra cost to you. Complex basing styles, utilizing bitz or parts from other kits, or intricate dioramic scenes, are reasonably priced.
