We glued and primed and painted until we were blue in the face, and thanks to all our loyal clients, we we’re able to take a second honeymoon! We winged out of Utah, all the way to our old stomping grounds, central Florida - to see family and relax for three weeks. Without friends and customers like DQ, PG, CH, DD, SG, JC, GS, and the ever-present PS, none of this would have been possible. So - first and foremost – thanks to all of you for supporting us and our love of painting miniatures. Now it’s time for us to get back to it. Before we left on vacation, we strolled on down to Sanctuary Games again, for their bi-monthly 24-hour October Iron Man painting competition - our entries can be seen here and here. Other entries included an astounding Warhammer Fantasy mini-diorama, a Khador warjack that had some of the smoothest blending I've ever seen, an intimidating Reaper dragon with flawless NMM armor, and a seriously slick Warhammer Fantasy Hellcannon that looked like it was literally possessed by... dark forces! The word is out about these painting contests - the talent seen there is growing exponentially, and shows no sign of letting up. This past month has seen some larger projects coming across our paint tables, and so we're a little backlogged with pics that still need to be uploaded to their respective galleries. We've slogged our way through more than one Ork Waaaaaaagh, tricked out some more Yu-Jing for Infinity, gone toe to toe with the Emperor's finest, and are getting geared up to tackle the next installment in the Dragon Magazine "Age of Worms" campaign - this one's called "3 Faces of Evil." This will be another exhaustive adventure project - each and every monster, each and every encounter, as well as NPCs, townsfolk - if it's in the adventure, you'll see it here! |
